Arduino SpiderBot V1
Project Overview
I wanted to build a four-legged robot that I could control wirelessly. I designed and 3D-printed its frame, then connected 12 servos to an Arduino Uno through a servo driver and Bluetooth module. The prototype responds to Bluetooth commands and provides a base for future sensors.
Key Features
- Bluetooth control
- Custom 3D-printed frame and motor mounts
- 12-servo, four-legged design
What I Learned
I learned how important stable power is when 12 servos move at once, and how a servo driver simplifies control from an Arduino. Adjusting printed parts to improve their fit also taught me to test mechanical and electrical changes together.
