Project Overview

I wanted to scan for nearby objects with a simple radar-style system. I programmed an Arduino Mega in C++ to sweep an ultrasonic sensor with a servo and measure distance. The prototype detects objects across its scan range.

What I Learned

I learned to sweep a servo while reading distance from an ultrasonic sensor, then use those readings to locate nearby objects. Building this first Arduino system also taught me to check wiring and code separately during troubleshooting.
